Valid PAN Format: AAACA1234A
Under the GST framework, each state registration forms a unique 15-digit GSTIN starting with the state code, followed by this PAN.

Official Government Registry Verification
Static client-side tools cannot query live state tax registries without an authenticated backend gateway. Verify official live status directly on the authorized government portal:

Under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime implemented across India on July 1, 2017, the GST Identification Number (GSTIN) is fundamentally a PAN-based 15-digit alphanumeric identifier. This architecture ensures complete synchronization between direct taxes (Income Tax) and indirect taxes (GST).
For example, if a corporate entity holds PAN AAACA1234A and operates in Maharashtra (State Code 27), its primary GSTIN will be 27AAACA1234A1Z5. If the same entity establishes a registered branch in Karnataka (State Code 29), its Karnataka GSTIN will be 29AAACA1234A1Z1.
