Input Validation

Email Verification & Disposable Domain Checker

Ensure your client and vendor communications reach genuine mailboxes. Validate standard RFC 5322 email syntax, identify corporate vs public free email hosts, and screen for high-risk temporary disposable domains.

Enter Email Address RFC 5322 Syntax

Checks recipient local-part syntax, '@' separator, valid domain label, and top-level domain (TLD).

Email Validation Report

Valid Email Syntax: rajesh.kumar@example.com

  • Syntax Validation: Passed (RFC 5322 Compliant)
  • Domain Detected: example.com
  • Mailbox Type: Corporate / Custom Domain
  • Disposable Check: Clean (Not in throwaway database)
Note on deliverability: Client-side JavaScript cannot perform SMTP handshake or MX mailbox ping without a backend server to prevent browser security blocks. Syntax and domain classification are verified.

Levels of Email Verification

  1. Syntax Verification: Validates character encoding, allowed symbols, period placement, and TLD formatting in compliance with IETF RFC 5321 and RFC 5322.
  2. Domain & Disposable Mail Detection: Verifies domain structure and compares the domain against blacklists of known temporary disposable mailbox services (e.g. Mailinator, TempMail, 10MinuteMail) commonly used for spam or fake signups.
  3. DNS & MX Record Lookup: Confirms that the domain maintains active Mail Exchange (MX) DNS records configured to receive inbound mail.
  4. SMTP Mailbox Ping (Server-Side): Simulates an SMTP handshake (HELO/EHLO > MAIL FROM > RCPT TO) to confirm if the specific user mailbox exists without actually dispatching an email.
